Raumedic Award for Pascal Förner
For the ninth time, the best thesis of the Faculty of Engineering was awarded at the Hof University of Applied Sciences.The prize is awarded twice a year by the university in cooperation with the Raumedic company from Helmbrechts in the Hof district. This year the first place went to Pascal Förner, dual student at Johnson Matthey in Redwitz in the Bachelor Mechanical Engineering course, who was able to prevail against 16 other candidates with his bachelor thesis on “Characterization of the adhesive bond of a piezoelectric membrane transducer”. The work was supervised by Johnson Matthey page from Stefan Klump, Development & Production Manager Piezo Products Modules & Devices, the evaluation of the work is influenced by various factors, including the assessing professor, the relevance of the work to science and industrial practice, and the overall grade of the study.
